Two terrorists were killed in a clash with security forces in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal district of North Waziristan, an army statement has said.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, said late Tuesday night that security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation on reported presence of terrorists in the Razmak area of North Waziristan district, a region bordering Afghanistan.
During the operation, an intense fire exchange took place between the troops and terrorists, killing two terrorists, the ISPR statement said.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists, it said.
